ACS Overall, ACS24 DC, ACS25 San Sebastian, and ACS Events Update
Welcome to Brief 66 which is an update on ACS Overall, ACS24 DC, ACS25 San Sebastian, and ACS Events.
The Access Control Executive Brief has introduced ACS Events, LLC, an in-person and digital events production company that operates globally to produce and execute access control-themed events both in the market and online. ACS Events will host its own events, such as ACS, as well as collaborate on third-party events like ISC West, The Security Event, and Intersec Dubai. ACS Events are designed to be omnichannel, relevant, forward-looking, value-added, and provide a first-rate experience.

We are grateful and excited to see the market's response to the events we have organized so far, which has created a great demand for us to expand. Therefore, our strategy and plan for ACS Events is as follows:
ACS will be an annual event, highly informative and a celebration of the global access control industry. ACS will be the premier access control event of the year, bringing together industry leaders, disruptors, and the broader ecosystem to discuss current opportunities and issues, as well as future plans and viewpoints. ACS will be hosted in sought-after locations around the world, providing meaningful experiences and showcasing cities with origins that have significantly shaped the industry. We will build on our successes from ACS23 DC and ACS24 Europe, cohosted by Google and dormakaba. ACS25 will be held in May 2025 in the city of San Sebastian, hosted by Salto Systems, with a cohost to be announced later. Initially, we envisioned holding three events per year—one in North America, one in Europe, and one in the APAC region.
Although we were planning ACS24 DC for October, we decided to focus on one ACS event annually, along with a handful of third-party and collaboration events, to avoid diluting the effort of bringing industry leaders together. We apologize to those who had already started planning for ACS24 DC or were confirmed to speak. We extend an invitation to speak at ACS25 in San Sebastian next year and to participate as a sponsor of the Retail and Access Control event in October, or to discuss a custom show opportunity with us.

With that said, here is what we are going to be focused on with ACS Events LLC and opportunities for you to participate:
-
Collaboration Events: These events will take various shapes and forms. Unlike ACS, where we do not provide sponsorship opportunities and are solely responsible, collaboration events will offer different engagement types, including ticket sales, sponsorships, and a blend of both. Examples of planned events include:
-
Retail and Access Control: A half-day show focused on the retail vertical and access control, to be held in October in Washington, DC, co-hosted by Brivo and supported by an ecosystem of companies.
-
InterOpCon: A global standards and interoperability show in Krakow, Poland, co-hosted by ASSA ABLOY, in March, and open to the industry to attend.
-
AC WOW: A conference focusing on marketing, creatives, and influencers in the access control industry.
-
Global Access Control Deal Summit: A half-day summit targeting M&A, corporate development, VC, PE, and the larger finance market focused on the access control industry.
-
Future Forward Forum: A global show dedicated to discussing the future of access control through the eyes of disruptors and companies focused on modern solutions.
-
Custom: We will work with brands and companies to customize and produce events covering verticals, trends, and relevant topics. You can have Lee Odess speak at your event, cover it, or have ACS Events, along with Lee Odess, create the event for you. We can handle small and large engagements and welcome the opportunity to collaborate with you to drive online and in-person engagement.

-
Security Industry Show Activations: We are thrilled to see leading industry shows like ISC West, ISC East, Intersec Dubai, The Security Event Birmingham, and The Safety and Security Show Singapore recognize the value the Access Control Executive Brief can bring. Each has engaged with us in different ways, and we are proud to activate in partnership with them at each event. For example:
-
ISC East: We will be activating the Critical Infrastructure Pavilion with online content creation before, during, and after the event, as well as on-site pavilion activation, show floor activation, and on-stage thought leadership on The Bridge. To participate, companies need to procure a booth in the Critical Infrastructure Pavilion or on the show floor through RX. Once signed up, we will start working with you to activate.
-
Intersec Dubai: We will activate a large Thought Leadership stage for all three days, discussing regional and global trends impacting the security industry and specifically the role access control is playing. Companies need to procure stage time through the Intersec team. Once signed up, we will start activating.
-
The Security Event Birmingham: We have expanded our partnership with The Nineteen Group and will have a much larger presence there called The XForum. We will hold three days of regional and global trends discussions impacting the security industry, and specifically the role access control plays. Additionally, we will host the first Access Control Industry Night Out event offsite for 100 access control practitioners. To participate in the XForum, companies need to procure a pod in the XForum or a booth on the show floor through The Nineteen Group. Once signed up, we will start activating. For the Industry Night Out event, please contact me or Hilary directly.
-
ISC West: While solidifying plans with RX, we can confirm we will activate the AI Discovery Zone again, making it bigger and better. We will also work with leading brands for in-booth activations and host Breakfast Business Briefings. To participate in the AI Discovery Zone, companies need to procure space through RX. For in-booth activations or Breakfast Business Briefings, please contact me or Hilary directly.
-
The Safety and Security Show Singapore: We will bring The XForum to Singapore, holding three days of regional and global trends discussions impacting the security industry, and specifically the role access control plays. We will also host the first Access Control Industry Night Out event offsite for 100 access control practitioners. To participate in the XForum, companies need to procure a pod in the XForum or a booth on the show floor through The Nineteen Group. Once signed up, we will start activating.
